The Big Desert of California is home to not only snakes, sand, and cacti (cactuses, however you pluralize it) but also shelters a very talented up and coming folk starlet. Little Desert's Audrie Olguin brings a fresh and innocent perspective to the world of folk music. The 20-year old Ridgecrest raised singer/songwriter came to folk music to express her life, a young woman's struggle with love and loss. Little Desert's debut album "Drifting Away" is due to be released May 13th. They are currently planning a release show and a summer tour.
